Gary Wilton Finley

Gary Wilton Finley, 77, husband of Sue Ann Wallace Finley, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at his residence.

Born in Charlotte, NC, to Virginia Finley Revis, and the late Ned Wilton Finley, Gary was employed with Wrigley Chewing Gum for 42 years until his retirement, and was a member of Eastlan Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, President of Pastorales, and TV camera operator.

Gary just recently received his 50 year service pin with the Masonic Lodge and was an avid bowler for 41 years.

He was a dedicated fan of the Tennessee Volunteers football team and an avid golfer.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, he is survived by a brother, Ron Finley (Barbara) of Easley; a sister, Deb Wills (Bill) of Taylors; and several nieces and nephews who all loved "Mr. Gary."In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his son, Gary S. Finley.

Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in the chapel of the Mackey Mortuary with faithful friend and pastor, the Reverend Dr. Bennie Littlejohn, officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:15 P.M. Tuesday at the Mackey Mortuary.

Gary was a loving and caring person and always had a smile for everyone.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastlan Baptist Church, 625 S. Pleasantburg Dr., Greenville, SC, 29607.
