

Born in Greenville November 17, 1939, he was the son of the late Felix E. and Myrtle Rigdon Hooper.
He was a 1958 graduate of Berea High School and served in the Army Reserves. Buck worked in Finance and Insurance and was the owner of ATJ Janitorial Service. He was an active member of Berea First Baptist Church for 58 years, serving as a deacon, SS teacher and coaching many boys and girls in basketball and softball. He was a member of Taylors First Baptist Church from 2008 until present.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years Lynn Welch Hooper; one daughter, Brentley Hooper Reeves and her husband Richard Todd Reeves; two granddaughters, Shaler Kaid Reeves and Ella Ray Reeves; a sister, Barbara Hamby and her husband Bill; a brother, Monte F. Hooper and his wife Joan; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2015 at2:30 p.m. at Taylors First Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 to2:15 p.m. in the Gathering Space of the Church.
