Harold L. Gifford, 81 of Greer, SC passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Born in Akron, OH, he was the son of the late Harold Joseph and Florence Nadine Ecrement Gifford. He was a local Business man who retired from Bridgestone - Firestone Tire Company. He was a member of St. John's Baptist Church where he loved to sing in the Sanctuary Choir. Harold was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Helen Marlene Gifford. He is survived by two sons: Kenneth L. Gifford and John Gifford and his wife, Christie; four grandchildren: John Henry, Emma Rhodes, Olin Parham, and Dexter Lawing Gifford; two sisters-in-law: Sandra Medley and Palma Jean Conner; three nieces and one nephew. Visitation will be Friday, November 6, 2015 from 12:30 - 2:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
