Rev. Harold Patrick Perry, beloved husband of Joanne Henry Perry, passed peacefully March 10, 2016 in his 81st year. Pat was born in Monticello, Georgia to the late James H. Perry and Mattie Bell Perry. He was a 1961 graduate of Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky where he earned a Master’s of Divinity, also he earned his bachelor’s at Furman University. Rev. Perry served as pastor at three churches in Greenville, So. Car. and Worthville, Kentucky for 23 years. He also served as an evangelist for 17 years. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Daniel P. Perry (Wanda) and Christian Perry (Christine); daughters, Cynthia Grubbs and Yolanda Bennett (Wayne); seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers; three sisters; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Standing Springs Baptist Church.
