Ed & Carol, so sorry to hear about your mom.  Keith, Ed's brother just called us about 10 minutes ago, he read it in the  Connersville paper.   We would have come to Liberty had we known.  We all know she is in a better place and finally with your special Dad.   Sure enjoyed lots of good times with them.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Grandma Helen , to my grandchildren,  has gifted us with great memories. Though I did not know her personally, I have visited her home in Petosky a couple of times, copied her crochet  pattern for Frog Hat and currently I am daily drinking 2-3 oz of "Joggin in a Jug".   I know that she has had a wonderful influence on her family and will give them encouagement in the future as well as they reflect on her values and her life.  May we meet in the presence of Jesus some day.


We loved Gma Helen! She was a joy to know! When Lee brought her to visit us we all fell in love with her.  Our 4 year old (at the time) son followed her everywhere.  She nestled right into our family and our hearts.  We know you will miss her! I talked with her a few weeks ago and am so glad for that last phone conversation. Take comfort that you were a well loved family! She was so proud of all of you! The Lord bless you as you gather to celebrate her life together!

One of my favorite memory’s with grandma was in South Carolina in 2016, grandma Helen was one of the only grandmas I had along with aunt carol. She always was smiling and enjoying every moment in life, I will miss her so much and I’m completely besides myself that I wasn’t able to see her one last time. I know she understood my situation and why I wasn’t allowed to go by other people, but that doesn’t matter, grandma I will miss you so much and I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to see you one last time
