Born on October 10, 1939, he was the son of the late Nettie and Herman Durham.
Marion had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, and he particularly enjoyed spending time in his garden. He took every opportunity he had to travel and see new places, and enjoyed fast cars. Above all else, Marion deeply cherished his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lorraine Durham, and a grandson.
Marion is survived by his daughter Mequita Bailey (Terry); sons Keith Durham and Barry Durham (Jean); step-son Tim Lyon; 11 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
Services for Marion will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM, after which he will be laid to rest with his wife in the park.
