

She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. John T. Green of Charleston.
She was predeceased by her husband, R.E. Skinner and a brother, John T. Green, Jr. She is survived by a son, Rufus E. Skinner of Belvedere; daughter, Suzanne S. Templet of Greenville; grandchildren, Lynn Pierce of Evans, Georgia, Susan Thurmond and Christine Carr of N. Augusta, Michael J. Hopkins of Lyman; step granddaughter, Wendy Harmon of New Orleans, Louisiana; eight great-grandchildren.
Hope was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church and Fidalis-Heartwarmers Sunday class. Also, she was a member of several bridge clubs and the Greenville Woman’s Club. She retired from Greenville County where she worked in Probate Court. She loved her family with all her heart and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved playing bridge as often as possible and enjoyed her coffee and chocolates. Hope will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank her caregivers of Jasmine Cottage at The Cottages at Brushy Creek for their special care.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
