Howard O. Morse Jr.

Born on March 1, 1945 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Agnes and Howard O. Morse Sr. After graduating high school, Howard went on to join the army. He served two years in active duty, before going into the reserves. Howard spent his career with O'Neal Inc. where he worked as an electrical designer.

In 2004, Howard met his beloved wife Janet, and the two would go on to marry that same year on Valentine's Day. He was a doting husband, avid fisherman, and faithful member of Pebble Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Delores "Dee" Morse.

Howard is survived by his wife Janet, and her children Sandra Brown (Edward), Jeffrey Schrom (Linda), and Susan Huygen (Christian), grandchildren Michael Brown (Carly), Danielle Schrom, Nathaniel Huygen, Joseph Huygen, Shane Berson, Dylan Huygen, and Meghan Huygen great-grandchildren, Aubrey Brown and Parker Brown, as well as his sister, Aggie Pringle.

Services for Howard will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. A visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, with a memorial service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM.
