Mamie Inez Ross Jones, 88, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015. She was born in Greenville County, SC to the late Robert W. and Mamie Davis Ross. She was an avid farmer, grew flowers, as well as worked at Bigelow Sanford Carpet Company and Reliance Electric. She is survived by a son: Douglas M. (Edna) Gilstrap; a daughter: Patricia Jones (Michael) Dravk; five grandchildren: Matthew Gilstrap, Jeffrey Gilstrap, Scott Lubic, Todd Lubic, and Kerri Frey; ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by two sons: Daniel Jones and Keith Jones and five siblings: James, Mary, George, Clyde, and Hazel. A Graveside service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11:00am in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family wants to thank Gentiva Hospice for the love and care they gave to their beloved Momma.
