JD is survived by his wife, Elaine Keith, son Scott Girardeau (Deana), step son Fred (Christa) Keith; grandsons Matthew Girardeau, James Darr Girardeau, step grandson Justin Keith along with 3 sisters and 1 brother.
A graveside for James will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1901 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29609.
