He is survived by son Adam King and wife Candi, son Eric King, and grandchildren Cara, Hanna, Robert and Richard King; He was predeceased by Harriett Ivey King, wife of 50 years.
A visitation for James will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Lee Road United Methodist Church, 1377 E Lee Rd, Taylors, SC 29687, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29609, at 3:00PM.
