James Robert Mangum

James served in the United States Army and is a graduate of Lander University. He was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, and he received his masters from Phoenix University.

Surviving are his wife, Casey Mangum of Ladson, SC and his son Carson Mangum of Laurens, SC; his father, James (Jim) C. Mangum and his “Mom” Anne Campbell Mangum of Greenville; his brother, Christopher T. (Chris) Merrell and his wife Michele of Palm Beach, FL; his brother Perry B. Henderson, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Greenville; his brother William Henderson of Greenville; his sister Anne Marie Triplett of Greenville; and four nephews and three nieces.

In addition to his mother, James is preceded in death by his brother, Joey Mangum.

Services will be held Sunday, June 5th at the Chapel at Woodlawn Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. A visitation will be held one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
