Jane Stribling Stivender

November 12, 1926August 25, 2014

Jane Stribling Stivender, 87, widow of Arthur N. Stivender,Jr., died Monday. Born in Dillon County, Mrs. Stivender retired from BB&T Insurance and was a Charter Member of Northside United Methodist Church. Surviving are daughters, Nan Oakes, Sue (Bill) Faubion and Nell Stivender; a son, “Reb” (Carol) Stivender; grandchildren, Suzy Jewell and Cindy Thomas, Toby and Misty Oakes, Glynn, Kelly and Rebecca Stivender; and Evan Moore and 7 great grandchildren; a sister, Anne McClary; 1/2 sister, Lena Waugh and 1/2 brother, Gene Turbeville. Services will be held at 11am Friday in Northside United Methodist Church with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:45 to 10:45 am at the Church. Memorials may be made to Northisde United Methodist Church.
