

She passed into eternal life, at her home after a brief battle with cancer. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, along with being a daughter, sister, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of love and caring to her family, and friends.
Janell is survived by her husband Edward E. Timblin Sr., to whom she was married for 63 years, her daughter Cheryl L. Timblin, and son Edward E. Timblin Jr. She is also survived by her three grandsons, Jonathan E. Timblin, David L. Timblin, and Eli H. Timblin, as well as her sister, Linda Kerneen of Bend, Oregon, and stepbrother Jack Wallace of Phenix City, Alabama. Janell was preceded in death by another stepbrother Sherman Wallace of Columbus, Georgia, her mother Lucille Wallace, and her stepfather Albert Wallace, both of Columbus, Georgia.
Services for Janell will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, with services to follow in the chapel. She will be laid to rest in the park after the service.
