Born in Taylors, she was a daughter of the late James Charles and Marie Hudson Phillips. Jean worked in retail and was a member of Hillside Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Tommy Finch and his wife Katherine and Keith Finch and his wife Lisa all of Taylors; sisters, Geraldine Crain and her husband Richard of Greer; Martha Garner of Taylors; brother, Alvin Phillips of Greenville; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Kathy Kelley.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 3, 2016 at 11am at The Mackey Mortuary with Rev. Eddie Howard officiating. Burial will follow in East North Street Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 3-5pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hillside Baptist Church.
