Joining the Air Force right out of high school, Jeff served four years of active duty and then served in the Reserves. Flying was in his blood and Jeff kept up a private pilots license even after retirement from the Air Force Reserves.
He met his wife, Lois (Penny) while studying at Bob Jones University.
His five sons, Nathaniel, Jonathan, Christopher, Anthony, and Gregory were his constant joy.
Jeff spent his career at Michelin where he enjoyed his work as a lab manager and appreciated the friendship of his co-workers. The College Ministry at Faith Free Presbyterian Church where Jeff was a long-time member was especially close to his heart, and he enjoyed driving the bus to provide transportation for the students. God used the friendship of a Christian family to show His love to him and he accepted the Lord as his personal Savior while still a young man.
Jeff went home to be with his Lord on January 13, 2015, fully confident that He would be rejoicing in His presence immediately.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 10 a.m., at Faith Free Presbyterian Church, 1207 Haywood Rd., Greenville, SC 29615, followed by a private burial.
The funeral service will be broadcast live on sermonaudio.com (link below), and a recording of the service will be available on the site afterwards. http://www.sermonaudio.com/source_detail.asp?sourceid=faith
