Jeremy Zuill Hill

USMC Veteran, Jeremy Zuill Hill, 39, of Taylors, SC, went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2017. He passed away suddenly at home due to a heart attack. He was the beloved husband of Stephanie Woernle Hill and father of daughter Felicity Bella Hill and son William Carlton Hill.

In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by paternal grandparents, Billy Carlton and Betty Jo Hill and maternal grandmother, Muriel Eloise Tolson; his parents, Steven Ray and Laura Jane “Janie” Hill; his parents by covenant, Ronald Eric (Lois) Woernle, his sister, Christl Hill (Patrick) Williams; his sister by covenant, Bethany Woernle (Sebastian) James; his brother, Kevin Alexander (Ashley) Hill; and his brothers by covenant, Ronald Eric (Tara) Woernle, Jr. and Adam Canaan Woernle; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughters, Charity Hope and Serenity Alyssa Hill.

Jeremy’s love for his family could only be surpassed by his love for his Savior, Jesus Christ. His zeal to know and share Christ was clear to the people who knew him. At the time of his death he was working on his B.Div. at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary with the desire to share his testimony: A Prodigal Redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb!

The family will receive friends at The Mackey Mortuary on Thursday, October 12th from 6:00-8:00pm. A memorial service will be held at Woodruff Road Presbyterian Church, 2519 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville on Friday, October 13th at 6:00pm with Pastor Carl Robbins officiating. Interment will be at M. J. Dolly Cooper before the service at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Living Hope Presbyterian Church, Benevolent Fund, PO Box 582, Greer, SC 29652 for his widow’s and children’s needs.
