Jerry Thomas Alexander, 81 of Taylors, South Carolina died July 3, 2025 peacefully at his home. He was born February 6, 1944 to the late Nancy Elizabeth Ballenger Alexander and Lewis Levi Alexander both from Mauldin, South Carolina.
Jerry worked many years at Overnite Transportation before retiring to spend time with his family and beautiful wife, Sara Francis Alexander before she passed on June 10, 2020.
He is survived by one daughter, Donna Ruth Alexander Semones and son in law Geoffrey Mark Semones and two wonderful grandchildren, Katlyn Elizabeth Semones and Adam Christopher Semones, wife Kylie Semones and one great grandchild, Graham Henry Semones. Jerry has one living sister, Lovell Byars and is predeceased by one sister, Mary Lucker and brothers Jimmy Alexander and Lewis Alexander Jr.
Jerry enjoyed spending time with family and watching NASCAR racing on Sundays. He believed in the Lord Jesus and was of Methodist faith.
A graveside service for Jerry Alexander will be held at 11AM Monday, July 14, 2025 at Graceland East Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Saint Jude hospitals.
