Jesse William Wright, Sr., 75, went home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2025. The son of the late Jesse E. Wright and Effie R. Beloate, he served in Vietnam as a Marine. He was an active member of Fairview Baptist Church in Greer, SC. Jesse loved to ride his motorcycle and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Cindy Wright, two boys, Jesse Wright, Jr. and Wade Wright (Carmen), brother Gilford Beloate (Shirley), and sisters, Dorenda Bullington, Penny Garnsey, and Reva Watson. He was predeceased by Judy Knight and Sonny Beloate.
A visitation will be held April 7, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Fairview Baptist Church, 1300 Locust Hill Road, Greer, SC, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville, SC. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to Fairview Baptist Church in Jesse’s memory.
