Jewell D. Webb

Jewell was a Library Assistant with the Greenville County Schools where she served over 20 years at Eastside High School. Jewell was a very active member for over 40 years of Brushy Creek Baptist Church, Taylors SC.

Jewell loved attending Billy Graham Crusades and listening to Bill Gaither and the Gaither Vocal Group sing gospel music.

Jewell loved to travel and garden and one of her life long passions was being an Atlanta Braves fan. One of her best memories later in life was when her four children took Jewell to Chipper Jones last home game as an Atlanta Brave. A great time for a true Atlanta Braves fan.

Jewell is survived by; sons Dean Webb (Gina), Brent Webb (Caryl), Tim Webb (Deanna) and daughter Cecelia Webb Colangelo (Dennis) grandchildren; Taylor Perry (Scott), Kendall Webb, Wesley Webb, Lauren Webb, Julia Colangelo-Heley (Kennan), Gabrielle Colangelo, and great grandchildren; Hazel Perry, Genesis Webb, Christian Webb, Gabriel Webb and Maddox Ardoin.

Jewell was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, whom she meet working together at the Fox Theater in Atlanta GA., Leonard W. Webb; Also preceding Jewell in death are brothers; Hubert Dobson and Jim Dobson and sisters; Marjorie Dobson Martin and Madrie Dobson Simmons.

A visitation for Jewell will be held Friday, June 21, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, South Carolina, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the service in Graceland East Memorial Park 2206 Woodruff Rd., Simpsonville SC 29681.
