Kenny, Kathy and Rebecca,
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Mrs. Joan, as our girls called her, was a great neighbor and friend. We have many wonderful memories of she and Mr. Walt. Grace and Isabella always enjoyed visiting her. One of the funniest stories from their childhood includes your Mom and Dad. One day when the twins were about 4 years old, Shawn and I could not find them anywhere in the house. We panicked and started searching the yard and the golf course frantically. We ran to Mr. Walt and Mrs. Joan’s house to ask for help. And this is what we discovered - Apparently, Grace and Isabella had walked to your Mom and Dad’s house, gone in the garage, and let themselves in their back door. We found all four of them having cookies together!! It was always like having sweet grandparents right next door.
I know she will be missed but we are sure there was a joyous celebration in Heaven when Mrs. Joan and Mr. Walt were reunited.
Our sincerest condolences,
Shawn, Teresa, Grace and Isabella
