Jodi Linton Cloer, 45, passed away peacefully May 17, 2019 born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of William “Bill” Linton and the late Phyllis Linton. She graduated from Riverside High School, and attained an Associates degree from Greenville Technical College in Fashion Merchandising. Jodi worked part time at Belk and Lowes Foods, but spent most of her time raising her two children. Jodi also loved helping other people and gave tirelessly of her time and efforts to anyone in need. She loved music, spending time with her friends, time on the beach, traveling, quiet moments with family, and continuing her relationship with God.
She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Andrew Cloer; daughter, Holland Cloer; son, Drew Cloer Jr; father Bill Linton and his wife Elisabeth Linton of Greenville SC; brother Philip Linton and his wife Lexie Linton of Greenville SC ; step-sisters, Angela Wood and Rebecca Nicholson.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the loving care of the staff at the GHS Cancer Institute for 10 years of care and friendship, especially to Dr. Jeffery Edenfield. And also to Heartland Hospice for their in home care.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Monday , May 20, 2019 at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 35 Shannon Drive Greenville, SC 29615 with a celebration of her life following in the fellowship hall.
