John Walter Pagan

Born in Raleigh, NC, He will forever be loved by his wife Trish, daughter Taylor and son Will.

John grew up in Anderson, SC and graduated from University of South Carolina. He is survived by his by his father Vernon Rodney Pagan, stepmother Patricia Beth Pagan of Townville, SC and his mother Paulette Kay Schroeder, stepfather Dr. Terry Milton Schroeder of Charlotte, NC; brother Josh Pagan, his wife Andrea; his stepsisters Kelly Moss, her husband Joel, and Betsy Steifle, her husband Chiles. He is pre-deceased by his stepsister Kristin Schroeder.

In life, John honored his country with service in the United States Army. He was a law enforcement officer in Fulton County, GA; South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and Greenville County, SC. His greatest honor was as a father to Taylor and Will who he loved dearly. May he rest in peace and watch over them as they navigate through life.

The family will receive friends at 2pm on Monday August 28, 2017 at Mackey Mortuary followed by a memorial service at 3pm.
