Alex was the sweetest most genuine man that’s ever been in my life… no one in this world made me laugh the way he made me laugh. He was loved by so many people and he will forever have a hold on my heart and the memories him and I made together. I hope everyone who thinks of him and thinks of their memories together and only smile and laugh and think of his contagious laugh (he had the best laugh) You will forever be important to me Alex… I thank God for him having our paths cross. ❤️ I’ll love you forever.

I want to extend my deepest condolences and prayers to the Alex’s family. I am so honored that I got to watch him transform in many ways over the last two years. 
Every Wednesday he would meet with me and other friends. When we first met him, he lacked the confidence that he gained, as his relationship with God grew. I saw first hand how his dazzling smile, kind spirit, and sense of ease soothed others. He comforted  friends when they were hurting and celebrated in their victories. It was incredible to watch him walk into the sunlight of the Spirit. I pray that is where he is now and forever. 
Alex, JTB will miss you dearly. I hope you rolled up to heaven in your shortest shorts and made the angles clutch their pearls! We love you and miss you already friend. We will keep you close in our hearts and our message. Thank you for being exactly who you were.

My last memory with Alex was playing volleyball at freedom park. We started off with just 5 players. Every time someone stopped to watch Alex would invite them over to play. By the second hour we had a full 12 person game. Alex learned everyone’s name and nobody was safe from his playful teasing, or encouragement. Alex’s ability to foster connection and bring out joy in people was unmatched. 
In the past year I’ve known Alex I’ve become familiar with a playful, kind, responsible, genuine, respectful young man. I always admired his dedication to his family, studies, wellness, and spirituality. He could find the good in every situation and seemed to be free from worry. I will cherish all of the memories I have of him. My deepest condolences go out to his loved ones. He will be missed by many.

Alex’s charm and sense of humor immediately made us great friends from the start. He was someone who could make you sit back and remember not to take life too seriously. He was one of those friends that would make you physically hurt from laughing so hard with him.  One thing I always admired was his respect and courtesy for his family and the ones he loved. He talked so highly of them and would’ve done anything for them. There truly was never a dull moment with him. I’ll forever miss our hilarious conversations and great times together. Love you dude.

To my friend, Gym bro, and running buddy! Thank you for all the great memories and great laughs. Going to the Dowd YMCA and running the rail trail isn’t the same without you. I’ll miss you growling at dogs while we’re running and arguing with you while we workout. You were one of the greatest I ever knew. Rest easy, my brutha. I love and miss you man!!

“Alex” was an outstanding person and an even better colleague and friend. I’ll always remember our weekly DOWD YMCA rooftop gym sessions, runs where he would bark at passing dogs, and us sneaking uneaten steaks in our serving aprons at Mimosa Grill. Blessed to have the opportunity to have this great friend in my life.  These memories will never fade. Those who live in our memories are never truly gone, and I believe that wholeheartedly. This was my last picture with him. See that smile?? God gave him the happiest last 2 years of his life. I remember thinking how joyful he was at my parent’s house when he came with Nina. Finally so strong, happy, himself. And him being himself was everything anyone wanted from Jordy.

I remember looking over at jordan at me and prices wedding and thinking “I’ve never seen jordan have this much fun”. I got to see him like a kid again- so free and joyful. It’s something I’ll always remember when I think of him.

This photo is a memory from 2002, when we met our distant cousins. We remember all of you with great affection. I want to take this opportunity to thank Tere, Diana, Alejandro, Nick, Melissa and their families for welcoming my brother Jorge and me with open arms several years ago. I remember Jordan, Joshua, and me screaming loudly while our parents were taking a photo of us. Joshua and I were 4-5 years old and Jordan 5-6. I remember him as a funny guy. I also recall Mico telling Cata and me about his great cousin, who he really admired, and Tere talking about how awesome he was (or how awesome he will be forever). I wish I had stayed in touch with him, known what he liked, and understood his ambitions in life.
