Lamar was born in Chattanooga, TN and was a member at Earle Street Baptist Church. He proudly served his county as a member of the US Air Force until his retirement in 1991.
He is survived by his son, James E. Craze; sister, Sherry Craze; brother, Terry Craze (Sondra) of Huntsville, AL; aunt Aline Leamon of Columbus, GA and uncle Thomas Wilkins of Thomaston, GA.
Services for Lamar will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn, 1 Pine Knoll Dr. Greenville, SC 29609. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made on behalf of Lamar to the charity of one’s choice.
