Mrs. Joyce Riddle Kay, 83, widow of Lewis Monroe Kay II, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Lethia Lineberry Riddle.
She is survived by her loving family, sons and daughters-in-law, Lewis Monroe Kay III and wife, Renee of Taylors, and John Robert Kay and wife, Kim of Greer; her brother, Harvard Riddle; and her grandchildren, Hogan, Ellis, Palmer, Molly and Katie Kay.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Clemson, Wofford, Furman, William, Don and Leonard Riddle; and sisters, Margaret Runyon, Grace Duke, Lucille Riddle and Elizabeth Henderson.
Mrs. Kay was retired from the dental practice of the late Dr. Graham Bennett and then Dr. John White as a dental assistant and then office manager. She was for many years a member of Edwards Road Baptist Church and then Taylors First Baptist Church. She was a longtime faithful supporter of North Greenville College.
Most importantly, she relished in being a loving "Nana" to her five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 25 from 1:00pm to 1:45pm in the gathering space at Taylors First Baptist Church with the funeral service to be held at 2:00pm in the sanctuary with the Rev. Dr. Frank Page officiating.
Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
