Judy was born in 1943. She was married for 43 years to Dick Leuschel, who preceded her in death. She is survived by their four children: Elisa Dean and family; Jonathan Leuschel and family; David Leuschel and family; and Daniel Leuschel and family. They additionally had seven grandchildren.
From the moment Judy became a mother, she chose to dedicate her life to her family. She filled her home with love and kindness, and excelled at supporting the people she loved through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She also felt her mission was to improve the circumstances of others going through hardships and difficult situations. She and Dick believed firmly that they should share their home with anyone in need, and did so many times over the years.
Judy had a passion for Irish Setters, and as a small-scale breeder often had a litter of puppies underfoot.
She was also a stalwart member of her Brushy Creek Baptist community. She had a strong faith and enjoyed witnessing to others about her love for Jesus. She served with the prison ministry, was a Sunday School teacher and missionary. She could often be found at the church, practicing with the choir. We will miss her, and her passion for giving and receiving hugs, greatly.
