Born in Bowling Green, KY, she was the daughter of Robert and Agatha Layson. Julia attended Traphagen School of Fashion in New York. She met and married her husband William Berry in 1952.
Julia is pre-deceased by her daughter, Julia Lisa, and is survived by her loving husband of 63 years.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the War Memorial Chapel on the campus of Bob Jones University. Burial will be private in Bowling Green, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Bob Jones University.
