Born in Simpsonville SC, she was the daughter of the late Worren Jason and Nadine Lancaster Wood. Mrs. Smith retired after 30 years as a long distance operator for AT&T and was a member of East North Street Baptist Church.
Mrs. Smith is survived by a son, Darrell David Smith; a grandson, Michael Travis Kellett (Carmen); and a cousin, Dakota Tumlin. She was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Gail Smith and a brother, Carlos Jason Wood.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday January 5, 2018 at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
