Kathryn Jean Stromberg

Kathy loved spending her time with family and friends. In her life, family always came first. She was affectionately known as “Mama Stromberg” to so many people. She was always warm, inviting and welcoming people into her home. She also enjoyed cooking, hiking and kayaking. She really loved spending time at the beach or the lake. Not only did she love playing cards, she also loved playing jokes on her friends and family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Erika Stromberg (Joe) and Alexandra Kao (Eric); one brother, John Catalano (Phyllis); and six sisters, Joanne Nelson (Danny), Vicki Catalano, LeeAnn Catalano, Mary Klemz (Jim), Donna Delkeskamp (Matt) and Connie Rowe (Mary Jayne McGuire).

Kathy loved animals, especially cats and dogs. She leaves behind her loving cat, Keokee.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM at 215 Devereux Court, Easley, SC 29642. The service will be held outside so please dress accordingly. Guests may park anywhere except blocking other resident’s driveways. Please bring a mask for any close contact or embracing of family and friends to protect those who are vulnerable and to help limit the spread of Covid-19.
