Kenneth "Skip" George Ells

Skip served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Mobil Oil, and was a real estate investor and co-founder of Landscapers Supply. Skip accepted Christ as His personal Savior in 1965. He was a member of Edwards Road Baptist Church since 1985. His passion in life was being a dad and a granddad. His hobby was work. His best attribute was a servant’s heart.

Skip is survived by his children Kim Ells, Clifford George (Vicki), Beth Burket, Alberta George, Mark Ells (Kristie) and Mary Yates (Chuck). Skip also leaves a number of grandchildren to cherish his memory.

In addition to his parents, Skip was preceded in death by his wife Carol Raleigh Ells; his son Raymond Ells; his grandson Brandon Burket; his two brothers John Ells and David Ells.

A funeral service for Skip will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Edwards Road Baptist Church, with visitation starting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
