Kenneth Quay Rice, age 94, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020. A member of Earle Street Baptist Church, he was a WWII veteran serving in the Coast Guard, and before retiring, was employed by Carrier Corporation and Liberty Life Corporation. He is survived by his son Steve and daughter-in-law Beth, two granddaughters, Kimberly Rush and husband Curtis, and Karyn French and husband Jeff, and three great-grandchildren, Thomas and Betsy Rush and Jake French. Preceding him in death were his wife of over 65 years, Sarah, son Darrell, parents Mollie and Robert Rice, and seven brothers. Surviving are his sisters Lula Ashworth and Eve Butler, as well as several nieces and nephews. A private service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Music Ministry at Earle Street Baptist Church.
