I am sorry to hear about Simon with my deepest sympathy after 1 year anniversary.    He & yourself treated me very well when I used to spend my vacation time during my college day just to hang out with southern hospitality which I always cherish his caring & kindness. Hi Estella,

I put a photo from your first restaurant in this book.  It was the first Chinese New Year dinner we had for the restaurant workers and families.  I am sorry to hear about Simon.  The two of you have touched so many lives through your business and your friendship.  I met Cathy at your restaurant almost 40 years ago.   Still married with grandchildren.  I'm sure the stories will go on and on.   

I can honestly say it still feel like yesterday, learning to help cook and prep for a busy week ahead.  Please take care.  I can honestly say that Simon's influence on my life was for the better.
