Dr. McCalla was an extraordinary man, neighbor and caregiver for his patients. We were neighbors 2 houses down on Augusta Court and he cared for my mother during the last months of her life. All of the family were special and dear. May God Bless you all and give you peace. He was a wonderful man.

To The McCalla Family: My sincerest of condolences go out to the entire McCalla Family upon learning of Dr. McCalla's passing.

Having grown up with Dr. & Mrs. McCalla's children since the 1960's, I saw firsthand what an exceptional father he was. Dr. McCalla was always so kind and generous to me growing up, and I will always remember this quality about him.

The world, indeed, is a better place because of the exceptional human being of Dr. Larry H. McCalla.

This is indeed a great loss of an amazing man. Larry was devoted to a life of service. He led by example in his own quiet, strong way. He made a difference to so many whether on County Council as its steady Chairman and on the medical front. Deepest sympathy to his family, especially the very talented son Allen. Rest In Peace, Dr McCalla. Well done.
