The daughter of the late Hugh Watt Bryson, Jr., and Laura Woods Bryson of Greenville, Tatum was a graduate of Greenville Senior High School (1973) and an alumna of Brenau College (1977), where she was a proud member of the Chi Omega sorority.
Always optimistic, Tatum will be remembered for her generous spirit, her dedication to family, her curiosity about all things, and her love of animals, especially her dogs.
Tatum is survived by her son, Charles Hugh Tatum (Jack Bohannon), and two sisters, Sue Woods Bryson and Claudia Workman Bryson.
A service will take place on Saturday, January 18, at 1 pm, at Mountville Presbyterian Church.
