Born on July 12, 1952 in Port Hueneme, California, she was the daughter of the late Anne and Frank Gankos.
Linda was a lover of books, old movies, and television shows. She enjoyed being outdoors taking walks, as well as tending to her garden. Devoted to her faith, Linda was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, and diligently studied the Bible. Family was of the utmost importance to her and she cherished time with her loved ones.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband Harold Alford, as well as her children Matthew, Timothy, and Danielle.
A Memorial Service for Linda will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 304 E Camperdown Way, Greenville, SC 29601, on Monday July 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
