
Linda Grace Williams Ballew, 69 of Taylors and widow of David Ballew Sr. went to her forever home Thursday June 17, 2021 in Greenville. After a long hard fought battle with vascular dementia. She is now reunited and made whole and reunited with her soul mate David, parents and siblings.
She was the daughter of the late Paul Thomas and Willie Mae Williams of Greenville.
She was a member of Rutherford Road Baptist and an avid softball player, pitcher and umpire for many years in her prime.
She is survived by her loving children David Jr. (Lynne) of Simpsonville and Brandy Knight (Jason) of Pelzer, her sister Brenda Ellers (Terry) of Kennesaw, GA as well as a very special friend (and bonus daughter) Julia Anderson of Mauldin. As well as her grandchildren who lovingly knew her as “Uma” Kristia, Justin, Candace Green (Hunter) and David. And her four great grandchildren Annaleigh Hofmeister (Namesake), Maddex Parks, KJ Green and Mila Green.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of over 50 years, a sister (Teresa) and brother (“Ted”) as well as her parents.
A private viewing will be held for the family and placement at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson.
The family are at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimers Association and Lutheran Hospice
