Aaron Burrell was born in Greenville County, 99, the son of the late William Henry and Lillie Rollins Burrell, Lloyd Aaron Burrell was a man of great faith and was a long life member of Holmes Memorial Church. Aaron was a firefighter with the U.S. Navy Civil Service in Norfolk, VA for 15 years and he worked at Belk Simpson in Greenville, SC for over 30 years. Aaron is survived by three children, Sharon R. Johnson husband Richard Johnson, Wayne E. Burrell wife Sharon Ann Burrell, and Kathryn B. High; three grandchildren Jeffrey W. and wife Denise Burrell, Kati C. High, and Elizabeth S. High. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his wife Kathryn Adams Burrell of 50 years, his 1st wife Beulah Mae Jones Burrell of 20 years, 3 brothers and 4 sisters
Receiving of friends will be at Woodlawn Funeral Home - 1 Pine Knoll Dr., Greenville, SC 29609 from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday, December 30, 2011 12, with funeral services immediately following. Interment will follow the funeral service at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Holmes Memorial Church PO BOX 1117 Greenville, SC 29602.
