Lois Ann Hamilton

Lois Ann House Hamilton, beloved wife of John W. Hamilton, Jr., passed peacefully January 28, 2016 at her home in her 72nd year. She was born in Greenville to the late Thomas Jefferson House and Ina Lucile Smith.

She graduated from Greenville High School in 1961. For many years she worked for Greenville Orthopedic Appliance Company and Doctor’s Care.

She was a devoted member of Northgate Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Regina Long Williams (Floyd); son, David Eugene Long, Jr. (Kristy); step daughter, Robin Leona Long Turner (Joe); grandchildren, Joshua, David, Nicole, Heather, Ashlynn, Owen, Landon, and Justin; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn House Ridgill (Robert); many nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Gail House. She was predeceased by a step daughter, Dunnette Long; and brother, Dr. Thomas Edward House.

Funeral service 11:30 am on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Northgate Baptist Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial in Graceland East Memorial Park.
