Louis Francis Gantt went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 8, 2016. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Clyborne and Rev. David Crane officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, SC.
The family will be receiving friends prior to the service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Memorials may be made to Greenville County Animal Care or to a charity of one’s choice.
Louis was born Greenville, SC. He was the son of Homer Weldon Gantt and Lois Strickland Gantt. He was predeceased by brothers: Homer Gantt, George Gantt and Donnie Gantt and a sister, Evelyn Gantt Williams.
Louis was a former member of Central Baptist Church and currently was a member of Earle Street Baptist Church in Greenville, SC.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia F. Gantt and his three children: Bradley W. Gantt (Lisa), David W. Gantt (Kelly) and Mary Gantt Allen; eleven grandchildren.
