Leola Louise Looper Batson, age 95, passed away January 4, 2015. She was born in Greenville, SC, to the late Leo Looper and Clara Nina Carnes. She graduated from Greenville General Hospital School of Nursing. Louise is survived by one daughter Deborah B. Daniels (Jim); one son William E. Batson (Sue); three grandchildren Matthew Daniels, Craig Daniels and Chris Daniels; one great grandson Joey Daniels; two nieces Carolyn Burton and Geraldine Antuzzi. Louise was predeceased by her loving husband Miles de Leon Batson; one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Greenville, SC at 1:00 pm with Funeral service at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Home at High Point, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
