Louise was born in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Matthew Jackson Charpia, Sr. and Blanche Nettles Charpia. Louise worked for many years with and retired from South Carolina Electric and Gas Company.
Louise is survived by her husband of 69 years, as well as, a brother Harold Charpia and sister-in-law Joan of Charleston, South Carolina; sister Evelyn Eidson of Columbia, South Carolina; sister Virginia Lewis of Jacksonville, Florida and sister-in-law Louise Rhodes Charpia of Greenville, South Carolina. Also surviving Louise are many nieces and nephews she dearly loved.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her brother Matthew Jackson Charpia, Jr. ; a nephew Maxcy and two brothers-in-law Ben Eidson and John Lewis.
A private graveside service will be held for Louise at a later date.
A very special "Thank You" is given with much appreciation to each of Louise's caregivers.
