Louise was born April 9, 1928 in Lanett, Alabama, daughter of Edgar Dawson Lifsey and Emmie Lou Thompson Lifsey. Before becoming homebound, she attended Colonial Hills Baptist Church, Taylors, SC and was a former member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Greenville, SC.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Flo) Dalton Wright of Lexington, SC, Frank (Julie) Jennings Wright of Frisco, TX and George Perry (Linda) Wright of Taylors, SC; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Alan Benjamin Wright, and daughter-in-law, Veena Decha Wright.
Louise grew up in West Point, Georgia. She developed a love of flying and earned her pilot’s license at the age of 16. Her life was changed forever when in her early thirties, she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. God gave her a passion for supporting missions which endured throughout her life.
A visitation for Louise will be held on July 11, 2022 beginning at 1:00PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607 and a funeral service will be held at 2:30PM in the chapel at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
