OBITUARY

Luther Clinton JOHNSON III

October 16, 1982March 29, 2021

Luther Clinton Johnson, III, of Piedmont, affectionately known as Clint, deeply adored father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, died peacefully Monday, March 29, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Sarah and Luther Johnson. Clint is survived by a daughter Kelsie Raegan and her mother Mandy Rhoads of Simpsonville, sister Susie of Greenville, brother Matthew (Katie) of Piedmont, nephews Kaden, Brycen, Corben, Coleman, and Hayes. Clint was a social, active man who loved to watch his Clemson Tigers and could even be found working the door at The Esso Club during home games. He enjoyed gathering with his friends to go skeet shooting, hunting, and fishing. He loved his daughter Kelsie with all his heart, and we will fill her with all the wonderful memories we made as a family. He will always be remembered as someone who would drop everything to help others, a loyal friend and gracious person. We mourn the loss of such a wonderful person at a young age but are celebrating that he is at peace.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 10th at Shiloh Methodist Church in Piedmont. All are welcome to attend.
