Margaret was a graduate of Bob Jones Academy and attended Bob Jones University. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelors in Music. Margaret taught voice, organ, and piano for many years. She was also a certified teacher and taught all grades in both public and Christian schools. She was a devoted member of Hampton Park Baptist Church.
Margaret is survived by her children: Steve Channel of Wilmington, NC, Glenn Channel (Denise) of Taylors, and Rhonda Miller (Mark) of Greenville; twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Margaret is predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Ronald K. Channel; and her grandson Kaleb Channel.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 18th at 11:00am in the Chapel at The Mackey Mortuary. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 10:00-10:45am. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
