She was born in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Walter F. McCauley and Ettie N. Atkins McCauley.
She was a member of Enoree Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening to Christian music.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Waters, brothers Troy McCauley, Marshal McCauley, and James McCauley, and sister, Frankie Hawkins and her beautiful grand-dog Bella.
Margie was blessed by the loving family who survives her: daughters: Sherry McAlister and Gina Finley (Tony); grandchildren: Liza Selman (Mike), Jessica Brice (Joe), Lindsey Finley, and Logan Finley (Haley); great-grandson Bodhi Brice; sister Sybil Frazier; and extended family including numerous nieces and nephews.
Margie cherished spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren and one great grandson.
A graveside service for Margie will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville, SC on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
