Born in St. Matthews, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Way and Rachel Counts Weeks.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: David and Rhonda Kennedy; a daughter: Karen Kennedy; three grandchildren: SPC William Kennedy, Wesley Kennedy, and Mary Elizabeth Kennedy.
A Graveside service will be held Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Woodlawn Memorial Park with burial to follow.
Visitation will be prior to the service on Sunday from 1:30 – 2:30 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
The family will be at the son’s home: 177 Tymberbrook Drive, Lyman, SC.
