On February 23, 2021, Mary Lucinda “Cindy” Morrow, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at age 75 in Largo, Florida. She was called home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, into His eternal presence and joy.
Cindy was born on May 21, 1945 in Alleghany County, Virginia.
Cindy is survived by two children, Robyn Morrow Morgan (wife of Scott Morgan) of Greenville, South Carolina and Karen Morrow Bennett (wife of Daniel Bennett) of Palm Harbor, Florida, and by five grandchildren, Leighton Morgan, Hunter Bennett (husband of Abby Bennett), Zachary Morgan, Kayleigh Bennett, and Lucas Morgan.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Thomas Jefferson Morrow, Jr. and by her parents, Harry Gordon Arritt and Mary Verna Huff Arritt of Covington, Virginia.
Over the course of her life Cindy lived in Covington, Virginia; Franklin, Virginia; Greenville, South Carolina; and in the Clearwater, Florida area.
Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, a caring friend who never met a stranger, and a servant of the Lord who wanted to see others grow in their faith in Christ. She graduated from Covington High School and attended Ferrum College. Over the years, she served mostly in the home, with periods working in piano instruction, in real estate and as a home health care provider. She was a member of Calvary East Lake Church. She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, and musicals.
