Mary Magdalene Rutledge, age 79, passed away March 2, 2014. She was born in Polk County, GA, to the late Noah E. Ploof and Bertha Mae Golden. Mary is survived by her husband William Norman Rutledge; her children Keith Rutledge (Brenda), Kelvin Rutledge, and Kathryn Casper; one brother Bob Ploof (Gail); two sisters Frances Kirk (Robert) and Patricia Gammon (Durward); seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister, Evelyn Ploof. Visitation will be Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1 Pine Knoll Dr., Greenville, SC 29609 at 2:00 with Funeral service at 4:00 pm and burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
