Mason was born in Greenville, SC on April 13, 2006 to Jennie and Brian. In 2015 he moved to Arrington, TN, and in January of 2018 he moved to Centerton, AR. Mason loved football from a very young age and started playing with the Franklin Cowboys in 2015. He then went on to play for the Bentonville Bengals for a year and then as a freshman in high school he played for Bentonville West where he also ran track.
Mason was loved and adored by all that knew him and was known for his brilliant smile, witty sense of humor, love of sarcasm, and having the very unique ability to brighten every room he walked into. His friends describe him as the class clown that would do anything in the world for you. He always wanted to help someone in need and took pride in his ability to love deeply, and his heart was bigger than what can ever be imagined. His family knew him as the little firecracker that he was, the boy who loved his dogs so much that he would roll around on the ground playing with them and always had silly nicknames for all his pets. He loved to wrestle with his brothers and was often found goofing around with them all over the house, pool or outside. Mason also loved to fish and would spend hours fishing off his dad's dock or really anywhere he could cast a pole.
Mason is survived by his four parents which included his Mother and second Father, Jennie and Dave DeSerio, and his Father and second Mother Brian and Cindy Edens. He is also survived by his four brothers and best friends, Dominic DeSerio, Matthew DeSerio, Gavin Edens, and Anthony DeSerio. His grandparents Bobby and Kathleen Williams, Bill and Diane Edens, John and Nicole Walsh, Loretta Rittaco, and Anne DeSerio. His great grandparents, Bobby and Barbara Williams. His many aunts, uncles, and cousins. All of whom will miss him dearly!
He was preceded by his brother Cameron Edens and his Great-Grandparents James (Jim) and Donna Chambers.
